Comments from the publisher
Japanese anime works, especially masterpieces such as "AKIRA" and "Ghost in the Shell" featured in this book, have been used in foreign films, literature, comics, and games. has also had a great influence. What makes this book so interesting is how it interprets the "background art" from a perspective unique to a foreign author. It's interesting to see the perspective of Westerners admiring the landscapes of Asian cities (which are also fictional). It is also valuable to be able to see the production process during the transition period from hand-drawn cel animation to the digital age.
