About the Author
Sousuke Fujimoto Born in Hokkaido in 1971. Graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, University of Tokyo in 1994, and established Sou Fujimoto Architectural Design Office in 2000. Major works include "Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2013" (London, UK, 2013), "House NA" (Tokyo, 2011), "Musashino Art University Museum and Library" (Tokyo, 2010), and "House N" (Oita Prefecture, 2008). JIA Japan Architecture Award (2008), Beton Hara Waterfront Center International Design Competition (Serbia) 1st Prize (2011), Taiwan Tower International Design Competition (Taiwan) 1st Prize (2011), Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) International Fellowship (2012), 13th Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition Japan Pavilion Golden Lion Award (2012), Montpellier He has received many awards, including the International Design Competition Grand Prize (2014) and the Wall Street Journal Architecture Innovator 2014 (2014).
