Go Hasegawa Works

Review(0)

Categories:Architecture

This book is the first collection of works by Go Hasegawa, a young architect who continues to sincerely create architecture with refreshing freshness. We will be introducing a total of 11 works, from his debut work "House in the Forest'' (2006) to his latest works "Komazawa House'' and "Kyodo House'' completed in 2011, as well as two ongoing projects. In his much-talked-about work "Piloti in the Forest'' (2010), he created a huge 6.5-meter-tall piloti in the forest of Kita Karuizawa, creating a semi-outdoor space where you can relax and relax while being surrounded by trees. The appeal of Hasegawa Architecture is its lightness, which it embodies in an extremely refreshing and smooth manner, while tackling head-on the theme that can be called the royal road of architecture: creating a new relationship between the natural environment and the living environment. In addition, the book design, which is filled with subtle details, is a simple embodiment of the attention that Mr. Yoshiaki Irobe put into his collection of works. With a spacious layout unique to a large book with double-page spreads exceeding A3 size, we will thoroughly introduce the charm of Hasegawa's architecture. In addition, at the beginning of the book is Shuntaro Tanikawa's poem "House,'' which was submitted for this book. The collection of works has an infinite scope.
