A long-awaited collection of works by Smiljan Radic, one of South America's leading Chilean architects. Featuring 18 works including his representative work "Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2014" and his latest projects. The thinking process is introduced through a wealth of visuals, including various illustrations referenced, his own drawings, study models, architectural drawings, and photographs of completed construction. At the end of the book, the correspondence with Mr. Sosuke Fujimoto reveals Mr. Fujimoto's deep architectural philosophy through questions that approach the essence of architecture.

About the Author
Born in 1965 in Santiago, Chile. After graduating from the Catholic University of Chile in 1989, he studied at the Venice Architecture University. In 1995 he opened Smiljan Radi? Arquitecto. An AIA honorary member since 2009. In 2001, he received the Chilean Architects Association's Best National Architect Award under 35 years old. Recipient of the 2015 Oris ACO Award. Major works include "Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2014'' (London, UK, 2014), "House for the Poetry of Right Angles'' (Vilches, Chile, 2012), and "NAVE-Performing Arts Hall'' (Santiago, Chile, 2015). Exhibitions include the Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition (2010), TOTO Gallery Ma 25th Anniversary Exhibition "GLOBAL ENDS'' (2010), and Ginza Maison Herm?s "Closets and Mattress'' Exhibition (in collaboration with Marcela Correa) (2013).
