Author's words
Another characteristic is that I tried to increase the variety of my works. Some are mystery-like, and some are sci-fi. Some are fantasy, some are fable-like, and some are fairy tale-like. All of these are areas that I am interested in. So this book could be said to be a short story about me, Shinichi Hoshi, a dubious writer.
(From the book's "Afterword")
