In addition to the "Nontan'' series, his books include the "Tomtom Boo'' series and the children's fairy tale "Itai Kaiju'' series. Nontan is also made into a 3D animation. Passed away in 2008. During his lifetime, he repeatedly said, "To young children, it doesn't matter who the author is. Even after I'm gone, I would be happy if Nontan continues to live on in the hearts of my children.''
