Reading and Thinking Japanese: 10 Topics Intermediate/Advanced

Review(0)

Categories:Reading

Students will develop their analytical and operational skills in Japanese through reading comprehension, vocabulary and expression practice, discussion, consideration, and expressive activities, centered on "real'' texts written for Japanese people. Enjoy learning through Japanese-themed reading materials such as kanji, honorific language, and katakana.

?? From "Aim of this book"
The purpose of this book is for intermediate-to-advanced level learners to improve their Japanese language skills while learning about Japanese. Focusing on the "raw" texts that Japanese linguists have discussed in an easy-to-understand manner for the general public, students can raise their awareness of linguistic culture as they think about, discuss, and communicate various issues surrounding the Japanese language. That's the aim.
(Omitted)
We provide an opportunity for learners with some knowledge of Japanese to summarize what they have memorized separately and approach Japanese with a new awareness of issues. At the same time, by developing learning step by step through reading comprehension, vocabulary/expression practice, discussion, reflection, and expressive activities, you will develop your language knowledge and operational skills in a well-balanced manner. By cultivating such analytical and language skills, we aim to develop independent learners who can develop their own Japanese language skills by setting their own learning tasks and using various learning tools.
