About the Author
Nobuyoshi Hamada... Born in 1952 in Iga City, Mie Prefecture. After working at Kyoto Shoin and AMS Arts Press, he headed the editorial office Seijinsha. He plans and edits a wide range of art books, from dyeing and weaving, crafts, and paintings to contemporary art. His major editors and publications include "Beautiful Living Art Collection of Edo'' (Kawade Shobo Shinsha), "New Edition: Colors of Japan'' (Heibonsha), "Enjoying Giga'' (Genkosha), "Beautiful Traditional Colors of Japan'' and "Japanese Family Crests and Designs'' (Pai International).
