About the Author
Eishin Osaki - Born in Gunma Prefecture in 1920. Currently 92 years old. Underwater photographer.
From around 1955 (Showa 30), he explored Ama villages across the country for about 30 years. Beautiful divers diving into the sea were photographed from underwater.
His work was discovered by Jacques-Yves Cousteau and Bruno Vairatti, and received worldwide acclaim.
