Takato Yamamoto's Aoi Colored Album
Categories:Art
Trace, color. Takato Yamamoto combines illustration techniques with the flat, delicate touch of ukiyo-e and Japanese paintings to depict the decadence and aestheticism of beautiful boys and girls. In addition to his work in illustration, he calls his own style "Heisei Aestheticism'' and is currently active as a painter. The production process is unique; first, a rough rough sketch is drawn, and then a sketch is created based on the rough sketch. Next, paint the entire back side of the sketch paper with a pencil, overlap the sketch and the actual paper, trace the lines of the sketch, and transfer the traced lines to the actual paper. Then, for the actual work, the lines are drawn with a facial brush and a pen, and the pieces are colored with Liquitex paints. As a result, it takes four times to create one piece. This book allows you to experience this process just a little bit. You can trace the already drawn sketch and then color it exactly like the main painting, or you can color it freely. Complete your own work.
