About the author
Born in Tokyo in 1981. Art anatomist. In 2008, graduated from the Department of Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2014, completed the Graduate School of Art Anatomy Laboratory, Tokyo University of the Arts. Doctorate (art, medicine). Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Biological Structure Science at Juntendo University, part-time lecturer in the Art Anatomy Laboratory at Tokyo University of the Arts, and visiting professor at the Illustration Course in the Correspondence Education Department at Kyoto University of the Arts. As "Izu's Art Anatomist (@kato_anatomy),'' he explains art anatomy at seminars around the country. His publications include "Learning Art Anatomy through Sketching'' (Genkosha), "Art Anatomy of Famous Paintings and Sculptures'' (SB Creative), and "What is Art Anatomy?'' (Transview).
