Learn art anatomy through sketching

Review(0)

Categories:Figure Drawing Guide

Art anatomy books with over 100 pages are popular these days. The content is varied, such as collections of materials, trivia, poses, etc., but it contains a wealth of information that takes advantage of the large number of pages. Although the amount of information has increased, many readers have lost track of the importance of the information or are struggling with the amount of information they have to remember.
This book is an introductory book that summarizes the anatomy of art in a compact 160 pages.
PART 1 summarizes the content necessary for art anatomy in 42 pages. When learning about the skeleton, instead of explaining the names of all parts, we focus only on the main parts that can be seen from the body surface. The color-coded muscle diagram organizes the 43 muscles that make up the upper limbs into nine muscle groups, greatly reducing the learning load.
PART 2 further deepens PART 1 by explaining anatomical tips (tips on how to see) that are often used in art. He introduced variations in anatomical views, including drawing muscles on sketches of the body surface, showing conceptual diagrams, and replacing complex skeletons with simple details.
In PART 3, we introduced practice methods and perspectives that can apply anatomy to sketching various poses. Once you learn the practice method in this book, you will be able to practice with the art anatomy books you already have, and you will be able to significantly reduce the amount of time you spend moving your hands blindly when drawing the diagram below.
PART 4 ??is an advanced version of PART 3, and introduces how to infer and draw nudes based on clothing. This method allows you to check the internal structure of clothed figures, character expressions, etc., and helps you develop the ability to infer what's inside from the outside, which is one of the important goals for learning art anatomy. Can be done.
The contents of this book are organized according to the basic learning principles of "knowing the main points,'' "deepening knowledge,'' "practicing,'' and "applying.'' Through this flow, you will not only be able to receive information, but you will also be able to think for yourself and make choices.
