About the author
Manga artist and illustrator. Born in Kobe City in 1984. Debuted in 2010 with the short story collection "The Adventures of Nakayoshidan'' (Tokuma Shoten). The same work won the Newcomer Award in the Manga Division at the 15th Japan Media Arts Festival. Other works include "Poor Mayumi-san'' (Tokuma Shoten) and "Goodbye, Everyone'' (Shogakukan).
In 2017, he published "The Concierge of the North Pole Department Store Volume 1'' and a collection of short stories "Iceburn'' (both published by Shogakukan). In addition to manga, he also creates many book covers and illustrations, as well as CD jackets.
