Born on June 16, 1973 in Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
In 1984, won the grand prize in the "Human Rights Manga'' open competition for elementary, junior high, and high school students (held by the Shizuoka District Legal Affairs Bureau).
In 1996, graduated from the Department of Visual Communication Design, Faculty of Art and Design, Musashino Art University.
Passed away on May 23, 2005 (age 31)
