About the author
Born in Kochi Prefecture. In October 2004, he made his debut by winning the 10th Dengeki Novel Award for "Salt Town''. The Self-Defense Force trilogy, which includes this work and "In the Sky'' and "Under the Sea,'' the "Library Wars'' series that was made into an anime and a movie, as well as "Hankyu Railway,'' "Botanical Encyclopedia,'' and "Three Animals.''
