Genji Monogatari Part 1

Review(0)

Categories:Classics

?? Classical scholar and author Nozomu Hayashi's masterpiece is finally being published!

You can read it as smoothly as you would a modern novel, while enjoying the accurate taste of the original "The Tale of Genji''.
A complete modern translation that goes beyond a "famous translation'' is born here.

??The book was edited by Nozomi Hayashi
The book was edited using a binding style called "codex binding.'' Every page opens neatly and is very easy to read, and the structure is reminiscent of the elaborate binding called "Tsurihaso'' used for Japanese aristocratic manuscripts from the Heian period to the Middle Ages.

?? Highly acclaimed in all circles!

"The emergence of a new way of reading" - Chiji Kuroi "Oh no, it's extremely interesting!" - Fumi Dan

?? Complete modern language translation of all 54 chapters, all 10 volumes scheduled to be published
This series is completely new.
Volume 1 includes Kiritsubo, Tsukagi, Utsusemi, Yugao, and Wakamurasaki.
