Categories:Creators' Artworks

Scenes that give you a sense of nostalgia and the ?gmomentary brilliance?h of charming characters. potg's long-awaited first commercial art book & making-of!

Potg is an illustrator who draws attention to the theme of brightly colored seasonal situations, and draws attention to his collaborations with companies and novel cover art, drawing expressions that make you feel the humidity and atmosphere as if you were there, and charming characters.
This is a luxurious collection of works that includes newly drawn works as well as carefully selected works that trace the transition from the beginning of the activity to the present. Another highlight is the behind-the-scenes introduction to how the work is created. In addition, a collection of rough sketches that can be considered the basis of the work, and an interview article that approaches the secrets of creation are also included. The author's charm has been packed into a volume of nearly 200 pages.
The large B5 wide format allows you to enjoy every inch of the work's original charm.

??Author introduction
potg
Illustrator. It captures the momentary brilliance of a nostalgic scene, and is characterized by an immersive world view that makes you feel as if you are actually there, and cute characters standing in that world. In addition to contributing illustrations to the ICEBOX (Morinaga & Co., Ltd.) campaign project "Nice Mix with Ice Cream,'' he has also been in charge of illustrations for numerous novels, including the "Hokagogakari'' series (Dengeki Bunko) and "Goodbye Letter: To You with 365 Days to Live'' (Starts Publishing).

??Points to consider when designing and making books
Potg's charm lies in his many seasonal-themed works. The book is laid out in the order of "spring, summer, fall, and winter,'' so that you can feel the flow of the four seasons throughout the book, and it is structured so that you can immerse yourself in Potg's worldview and enjoy it. We hope that you will enjoy the scenes depicted in the work with a sense of realism.
The monochrome sketch part is a 16 page drawing. Printed on special paper with different colors and textures, you can enjoy the rough sketches as if you were peeking into the author's sketchbook.
