About the author
Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1956. After graduating from the Department of Visual Communication Design at Musashino Art University in 1980, worked as a freelance illustrator. Starting with Stephen King's "Pet Sematary'' (Bungei Shunjusha) in 1989, he has been in charge of cover illustrations for Stephen King's publications such as Fusosha and Shinchosha. In addition, he has worked on a series of modern horror series by Dean Koontz and McCammon, foreign works such as "The 24 Billy Milligan'' by Daniel Keith, and illustrations for domestic authors such as Miyuki Miyabe and Fuyumi Ono, for a total of about 1,000 books. His representative works in recent years include Ranpo Edogawa's "Boy Detective Series,'' a total of 26 volumes, and Maurice Leblanc's "Ars?ne Lupin Series,'' a total of 20 volumes (Poplar Publishing).
