Kenzo Takada's designs, which fuse various cultures from around the world, liberate the wearer from fashion!"
- Kiko Mizuhara
A complete archival edition containing over 300 design drawings by world-famous charismatic fashion designer Kenzo Takada.
Kenzo Takada moved to France in 1965, achieved success in Paris, and is truly a pioneer who paved the way for Japanese designers to expand into the world.
This book contains over 300 hand-drawn fashion design drawings left behind by KENZO from his private collection.
We have posted many photos from private and collection days, and we also introduce the series of processes from the design of a single dress to its completion and presentation at a show.
The text of the letter he wrote to his mother has also been published for the first time, allowing you to follow his creative footsteps and behind the scenes over more than 40 years.
The vast amount of pencil drawings and powerful colored pencil drawings are overwhelming, and this is truly a permanent collection that is a must-see not only for KENZO fans, but also for all those involved in fashion, fashion designers, and costume design.
