About the author
Realist painter. Born in 1985 in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, lives in Kure City.
In 2007, graduated from Hiroshima City University, Faculty of Art, Department of Fine Arts, majoring in oil painting (received Mr. M Award for graduation work).
Won the special prize at the 2nd Hoki Art Museum Grand Prize Exhibition in 2016. Many solo and group exhibitions.
In order to take a close look at the subject and paint it thoroughly, he produces only a few paintings each year.
The work "As it is before words'' (Hoki Art Museum collection), which took a year and a half to create, became a buzz on SNS, and
immediately gained attention beyond the boundaries of art, and was introduced in many media outlets, including NEWS23 (TBS).
He is friends with film director Shunji Iwai, and was the model for the main character in Iwai's novel "Late Summer of Zero''.
