Review(0)

Categories:Manga Volumes

Japan during World War II. Mahito, an 11-year-old boy who lost his mother in a fire, leaves Tokyo with his father and moves into a large mansion called "Aosagi House''. Masato has mixed feelings towards his overbearing father and his late mother's younger sister Natsuko, who has become his new mother, so he hurts himself and withdraws into the house.

The person who approaches Masato is a "heron man" who can go back and forth between a blue heron and a human. Guided by the heron man, Masato wanders into a mysterious tower where his great-uncle, who was the owner of the mansion, disappeared, and ends up being invited to another world.

The latest in the long-awaited series for Studio Ghibli fans, which includes all the cuts and all the dialogue from director Hayao Miyazaki's first new feature film in 10 years, depicting his own childhood. This is the only book where you can learn all about the completed images of the anime, as there is a strict advertising policy of not revealing the content of the work!
