Animator and character designer. Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1965. After graduating from high school, he joined Monsieur Onion Productions. Debuted in video with "Gu-Gu Ganmo" (1984). Debuted as an original artist with ?gHai Step Jun?h (1985). Made his debut as an animation director with Fist of the North Star (1987). Debuted as a character designer in "BE-BOP HIGHSCHOOL" (1989). Became independent as a freelancer in 1990. In recent years, he has worked as the main animator for "Golden Kamuy'' (2018) and animation character design for "Pet'' (2019).
