Miyazaki Hayao
Born in Tokyo in 1941. Animation film director.
After graduating from Gakushuin University's Faculty of Political Science and Economics in 1963, he joined Toei Animation (currently Toei Animation).
After working on the scene design and original drawings for the theatrical film "The Prince of the Sun: The Adventures of Horus" ('68), he transferred to A Production, where he directed the theatrical mid-length film "Panda Responsible for the original idea, screenplay, scene settings, and original illustrations for the "Kopanda" series ('72, '73).
After that, he worked at Zuiyo Eizo, Nippon Animation, and Telecom Animation Film, and then participated in the establishment of Studio Ghibli in 1985.
