This work ?gILLUSTRATION 2022?h is the latest version of the best-selling ?gILLUSTRATION?h series.
From a wide variety of pop culture to ever-changing internet culture,
150 talented artists who cross over the Japanese illustration scene that is attracting attention around the world.
More than 90% of the featured artists have been replaced from the previous book "ILLUSTRATION 2021'', allowing you to experience the cutting edge of contemporary illustration.

The 2022 cover will be decorated by Tsumi Furutou, an illustrator who is currently attracting the most attention and has worked on YOASOBI's key visuals.
The book design will be handled by Tomoyuki Arima, an up-and-coming designer trusted by many authors.

At the end of the book, Yohei Yashiro of Sony Music Entertainment, known as the instigator of YOASOBI,
PIEDPIPER, the general producer of the creative group "KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO" which includes virtual singer Hanafu, etc. In addition to interviews, it also includes a special conversation between Tsum Furuta and Tomoyuki Arima about the process of creating the cover design for this book.
