Comment from the publisher
When I was still a student, I went to Kosakusha's office as a reader. That was over 30 years ago.
While I was observing an editorial meeting, I was told by Seigo Matsuoka, the editor-in-chief at the time, "We have decided to use the work of an amazing artist on the cover of the upcoming issue of Yu.'' That was Tiger Tateishi.
Even after he became a staff member at Kosakusha, Mr. Tiger was a topic of conversation many times with designers such as Shin Sobue, who were still colleagues at the time. I had even planned to use him, but I never had the chance to meet the person in question. Actually, I am personally interested in oil paintings that are divided into panels, and I have not paid much attention or respect to manga works. However, this time I had the chance to create "TRA'' and was once again taught the greatness of Tiger Manga.
Before I knew it, I had forgotten that I was an editor and was feeling nervous, nervous, and excited as a reader. The person who taught us was, of course, Mr. Tiger himself, and Shin Sobue, who was in charge of the design and selection of works.
Both of them are amazing artists and craftsmen...in many ways.
