A ?gcollection of works?h of beautiful sustainable architecture

This is the first collection of works in Japan by Australia's leading architect Glenn Murcutt (1936-).
Murcutt, who won the Pritzker Prize, also known as the Nobel Prize of architecture, in 2002 and is highly acclaimed around the world, has created more than 500 buildings in Australia over 40 years of design activity. Murcutt's architecture not only has a beauty backed by minute details, but is also carefully considered as a "spatial device (contraption)'' that creates a rich living space in response to the natural environment.
This book introduces 13 of Murcutt's representative works through photographs that beautifully capture the essence of Murcutt's architecture: the harmony between nature and architecture. Beautiful answers derived from the natural environment = Glenn Murcutt's architecture continues to lead contemporary architecture as a rare example of putting sustainability at the core of design.
The simultaneously published drawing collection "Glenn Murcutt: Thinking Drawing/Working Drawing'' introduces the 13 works featured in this book with drawings.
