Hanyu Yuzuru

Born on December 7, 1994 in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.
He has participated in numerous tournaments since his days as a novice. Won the World Junior Championship. After making his senior debut, he steadily stepped up. He was also affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. Won bronze medal at the 2012 World Championships. He won his first victory at the All Japan Championship in the same year.
Won gold medal at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Four years later, he won a gold medal at the PyeongChang Olympics, making him the first consecutive champion in 66 years.

Born in 1976 in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.
Member of Japan Sports Press Association and International Sports Press Association.
