How to draw creatures based on the combination of humans and animals
Categories:Other How-To-Draw
The author, who has learned about human body mechanisms and has acquired drawing skills, devised the human body model "Base Body'' by eliminating waste and schematizing it from his own experience.
Of course, this base body is useful for capturing the human body three-dimensionally, but by transforming parts of it, it is possible to create various creatures.
The basic mechanisms of muscles and bones can be generalized in living things, even in humans, if we change their characteristics.
The splendid three-dimensional mechanism that eliminates waste is applied not only to living things but also to mechanical things such as robots, and the process of metamorphosis that transforms in various ways is pleasant.
The author's overwhelming drawing ability gives a sense of three-dimensionality, and the book is filled with examples, opening the door to new ideas.
??Chapter 0...I will introduce the "base body" determined from the human body mechanism in detail, and have students learn and remember it as a basic body.
??Chapter 1... Change from base body to mammal. Because they are similar to humans, they can easily transform into beastmen.
??Chapter 2...Explains the variations of reptiles and eastern and western dragons.
??Chapter 3...Birds
??Chapter 4...Insects
??Chapter 5...Explains digital coloring of creatures.
??Chapter 6...Explains the design of non-human characters in fairy tales.
??Chapter 7...Explains deformed bodies like Pokemon.
??Chapter 8...Create and explain characters that appear in the popular Cthulhu mythology.
