About the author
Born March 12, 1968. He is an illustrator, character designer, and manga artist from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, and is affectionately known as Artist Yokoi.
When he was a junior high school student, he posted a post on "Model Information" under the pen name of Toriyama Ryo, and in 1984, he made his debut as a manga artist by serializing the four-panel manga "MJ Theater" in the same magazine. After that, he was able to draw an illustration for the display panel of Bandai's Gashapon series, so he participated as a designer in a new deformation project and was in charge of the design of "SD Gundam." "SD Gundam" became popular, and characters from various works such as "Kamen Rider," "Ultraman," and "Godzilla" were designed as SD characters. Furthermore, "Gundam'' created a huge boom with SD's unique designs such as "Musha'' and "Knight.'' Even in the Reiwa era, they continue to produce "SD Gundam".
