About the Author
Kazuhiro Ochi... Born February 19, 1962. Born in Gifu Prefecture. In July 1978, at the age of 16, he moved to Tokyo alone. Debuted as an animator with "Space Majin Daikengo". Currently, his main activity is as an illustrator.
Starting with the "Mazinger Z'' DVD-BOX released in 2002, he has been almost solely responsible for the jacket art for numerous DVD/BD software of super robot and science fiction hero anime works from the 70s and 80s. As of 2023, the number of products is 101 titles. The number of newly drawn illustrations is well over 300.
In July 2022, we will publish "Super Robot & Hero ARTWORKS Kazuhiro Ochi Art Collection" (published by Genkosha), which includes illustrations of Go Nagai's works and Toei Animation works. Due to its popularity, it has been reprinted.
