About the author
Born in 1985, from Chiba Prefecture.
Graduated from Musashino Art University Oil Painting Department Printmaking Course.
Joined MIC Co., Ltd. in 2013. Belongs to the digital prototype team and works on numerous commercial prototypes.
Unveiled the first original sculpture "contagion girl" at the 2015 Wonder Festival.
The second original work, "survival01:Killer", which was released at Wonder Festival in the winter of the following year, was selected as the 7th volume of Mamegyorai AAC (Amazing Artist Collection).
Selected as a Japanese invited artist at Wonder Festival 2018 Shanghai Prestige.
In 2018, he published his first collection of works, ?gMasato Ohata Works ZBrush + Modeling Techniques?h (Genkosha).
In 2022, he will serve as a character designer for NHK's "Okaasan to Issho" puppet show "Fantane!"
Currently working as a freelance prototype sculptor.
