Categories:Creators' Artworks
Experience the turbulent history through the pen of Yoshikazu Yasuhiko! Yoshikazu Yasuhiko started his career as a manga artist with "Arion'' in 1979. As he approaches his 45th anniversary as a manga artist in 2024, a 240-page all-color visual guide will be created that collects famous scenes from Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's historical manga.
"Arion'' takes on the epic world of Greek mythology. There are works of ancient history such as "Namji - The Great Country Lord - Kojiki Vol. 1,'' which searches for the origin of the Japanese people in the folklore of the gods, and works that focus on modern history up to the war, such as "Rainbow Trotsky.'' Delve deeper into the world of historical manga drawn by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, along with original drawings and explanatory articles.
When it comes to depicting history, Yoshikazu Yasuhiko says, "It's about imagining how real people were living and breathing.'' Along with the vividly realistic depictions of people, the book is also full of "history stories'' in which the author himself talks about the charm of history! Also included is a special edition of a newly written manuscript filled with Yasuhiko's historical views.
Special interviews with celebrities from various fields such as manga and archeology will also be included, making this a must-have history guide not only for Yasuhiko fans but also for modern people.
