A collection of 15 short manga works published by Katsuhiro Otomo from 1974 to 1976 when he was 20 to 22 years old, in the order of publication.
It is a complete set that focuses on the works included in the book "BOOGIE WOOGIE WALTZ'' published by Kitansha in 1982, as well as the long-awaited first recording of two works that have not been included in the book, "ONE DOWN'' and "Kagami Jigoku'', a manga adaptation of Edogawa Ranpo's short story.
The content is full of ambitious works that allow you to deeply appreciate the young Katsuhiro Otomo's rough yet experimental and extraordinary talent for exploring new expressions, which later culminated in "Domu'' and "AKIRA.''

Manga artist and film director. Born in Miyagi Prefecture.
Debuted in 1973 in "Manga Action". His representative works include "Domu'' and "AKIRA.''
In 1988, the animated film "AKIRA" that he produced received high praise outside of Japan and became the forerunner of the Japanese anime movement (Japanimation) overseas.
In 2013, received the Medal with Purple Ribbon from the Japanese government. In 2014, he was awarded the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government.
2015, 42nd Angoul?me International Comics Festival Grand Prize (France).
